Shortly after starting feathercast David had an idea for a cartoon style logo that we could use. The reason for the cartoon styling was to allow for easier use on merchandise. Discussing it with Rich led to a few ideas, but none really stuck until Rich suggested using a feather with a microphone.
There was a slight delay while things got busier and then David asked a caricature artist in New Yorks Central park to draw a sketch of a feather using a microphone.
This acted as the basis of the logo you now see, but was too involved anc complex to work well. Eventually David contacted Garry Beckett to create the final feather logo you see today. The words were added by David once the initial logo was created.
